Wills and Trusts

A will is a legal document that allows you to identify your beneficiaries and designate the way in which your property consisting of real and personal property will be distributed upon your death. Upon passing, some wills require a process known as probate. This process requires obtaining a court's permission to administer the estate per the  will's terms.

A trust is a legal document (entity) that a person may place assets into. The trust may provide options for persons to manage their property during their lives so that there is an easy transition after they pass.
